Science Made Beerable are taking this hop-portunity to make you weiser to ale the science that gose into a brew with a live-streamed beer tasting event.
Experience the world of beer like never before at our 'ExBEERimental Science' tasting event! This National Science Week, we challenged three Australian independent breweries to don a lab coat and craft not one, but two beers; a "control" and an "experiment" which will be explored in depth, live, with the brewers themselves. Enjoy a night of beer tasting, education, and fun as you discover the amazing possibilities of the science of brewing!

We are thrilled to announce the 2023 participating breweries are Molly Rose Brewing (VIC), Range Brewing (QLD), and Shambles Brewery (TAS).

The event, sponsored by Hop Products Australia, Voyager Craft Malt, Bluestone Yeast Co. and KONVOY kegs will be held at Shambles Brewery on Thursday 17th August and live-streamed out across Australia.

This year there are a few ways you can join in the fun:
NOTE: the live audience tickets to attend at Shambles have sold out!!

You can order your ExBEERimental Science 6-pack to drink along at home, as we delve into how these beers are made, what sets them apart, and how science is integral to every step of the process to deliver the final product.

For those beer fans in Northern Tasmaina, watch-parties will be held at Empress Craft Beer Bar in Devonport, and at Saint John's Craft Beer Bar in Launceston. Check out their Facebook pages for event details.
